Unfortunately, traffic accidents are a common cause of death in Florida. Parasram Nandalall of Margate was killed in a one-vehicle crash Saturday, reports say. Nandalall, 21, died at the scene of the accident. Police are currently conducting an investigation to determine what factors led to the deadly crash.
According to reports, the accident occurred at around 11:00 Saturday evening. Nandalall was reportedly westbound on Royal Palm Avenue when, for reasons not yet known, he lost control of his 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The jeep left the street, plowed through the back yard of a home on Northwest 68th Avenue, tipped a tree, and then rolled into a canal, sources say. "It must have been going at a high rate of speed, based on the destruction," a nearby resident reportedly told the press after the collision. "The tree was pulled out by the roots."
Paramedics and dive teams searched the canal throughout Sunday and could not find Nandalall's body. The jeep was hoisted out of the water early Sunday morning and search crews continued their hunt for Nandalall's body without any luck. In the end, Nandalall was not found until 2:30 Monday morning, reports indicate. The crash is still under investigation and Margate police are asking anyone with additional information to contact their Traffic Unit.
