He was apparently conscious when he was air-lifted to the Medical Center, but his current condition is unknown. He underwent surgery immediately following his accident. Reports indicate that North Lauderdale Fire Rescue Crews recovered the arm from the pump, although it is unclear whether medics were able to reattach the severed appendage.
The man received a visit from Curt Beadle, the president of Butler National Services Inc., in the hospital. Butler National Services has indicated that it is concerned about its' injured employee, although it is not releasing the man's name because not all of his relatives have been informed of the accident yet.
